Bureaucratic
December 2007

He cited the proposed UK national identity [card] register as an example of "bureaucratic over-reach." He also attacked EU plans for tax harmonization [which is fascism, IMO]. The state is being allowed to "creep ever further into the lives of British people as a
resu lt of an outdated ideology," Cameron said.

He singled out "politicians & public officials who believe they know best how to organize our lives. They don’t mean to harm us. In fact, they aim to help us. But their ideas are out of date, their methods failed & their advance must be derailed. In their desire to control, regulate, & direct, the defenders of the bureaucratic age have over-reached themselves. They’ve gone too far. They have tried to do too much. And it has exposed the historic error of their ways." 3cheers!
